A striking circular chart depicting the northern coastlines of the land surrounding the polar regions starting with Hudson's Bay and Straits, Labrador, Baffin Bay and The Davis Straight to Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Lapland and the Russian Arctic.

There are large fanciful depictions of glaciers across the center topped with a sea bird with outstretched wings over a shield with plumes and a tasseled cord. The title cartouche in top left is surrounded by figures blowing polar winds.

A fine, decorative chart in good condition. There are some restored cracks in the margins and a repaired worm hole in the top center of the image, left margin slightly browned.
