A fascinating map of Scandinavia by Sebastian Munster based on the 'Carta Marina' of Olaus Magnus, 1539. Scotland appears in the bottom left corner, still in its Ptolemaic format, projecting east, with Edinburgh and St Andrews marked.

The map is in very good condition with mild overall toning a a couple of small worm holes in the margin at the centerfold (well away from the image area).
