Title: 'Tabula Noua Sicily, Sardiniae, & Corficae ..'

Based on Martin Waldseemüller (1470-1521) who drew maps for the 1513 and 1520 editions of Ptolemy's ' Geographia'. The maps were revised and reduced by Laurent Fries and Grüninger and used for the ' Geography' editions of 1522 and 1525 (Strassburg), 1535 (Lyon) and 1541 (Vienna). The map is from the edition published in 1541.

In very good condition, with only very slight discoloring of the centre fold (visible in the picture).
