A scarce birds eye view of London at the begining of the 18th century. The title (Londen / Westmunster u Soudwark) is in two ribbons at the top of the engraving. There are two compass roses engraved in the river. A description of London has been added on both sides of the map. On the farther right is a nine column index identifying over 200 points of interest. The map covers the area from St. Jamese in the west to Stepney in the east and Finsbury Fields in the north to Lambeth in the south. Ref: Howgego 57

Condition: AA. Folds as given. Printers crease in top margin between title ribbons. Right fold has been strengthened to avoid future damage.
