A beautifully engraved 300 year old tourist map and guide of the countryside around Lucerne. Narrow cobbled streets, medieval squares, a jagged skyline of towers and spires, and two ancient wooden covered bridges (Kapellbrücke and Spreuerbrücke) spanning the River Reuss make Lucerne (Luzern) something of a fairy-tale town. Add to this the lovely setting on Lake Lucerne, with the towering peaks of Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi and it's easy to see why this is one of the most popular places in Switzerland. Scarce.
