A very rare French map of Africa by Jean Baptiste Nolin (senior) after Coronelli.

The map is in very good condition on bright quality paper and with original colours. There are a few faults: a small stain to the left margin area that could be removed and three tiny holes also exist in the Sahara region. Overall these faults do not detract from the impact of this very beautiful and seldom seen map.
