'A detailed map of Eastern Seaboard of North America, centred on
the English Colonies from Carolina to Newfoundland and Maritime Canada. The Great Lakes lack any detail and are completely inaccurate, whilst the hydrographical information regarding sandbanks, reefs and depths is far more advanced. (Ref: Tooley).
