Sheets VII & XII of Scheda's Generale Karte von Europe depicting the British Isles, with Belgium, Holland and northern & central France (comparing todays' map of Holland one can readily see the amount of land reclaimed from the sea over the last 160 years). This topographical map also shows the major roads, railways and sea routes (with the distance between ports shown in nautical miles).

Each map has been dissected into 8 sections and laid on linen. A finely executed strap work border surrounds each map. Scarce.
