Colton's influential map of the early United States, with the map itself derived from the scarce 1873 Atlas of the State of Michigan.

Interesting features include 'Indian territory' above Texas and British Domininons in present Canada. The map has very good detail of towns, railways, rivers, forts, and a delination of the states and territories of the time. The map is in good condition with minor foxing.
