Published in London. An engraved folding double-hemispheric world by a famous cartographer. California is an island and the east coast of New Holland is unexplored. The map has an inset of the North Pole.

The map is hand-colored in outline and has moderate even toning overall with a tear in bottom margin extending just to the platemark (which can be easily closed). There is a small split at the top and bottom centerfold that does not reach the plate area. A good example of Moll's elegant style.
