Title: 'Scandinavia and the confines in which are the kingdoms of Denmark, Sweden and Norway...'

A very large and elegant map of Scandinavia that is seldom seen on the market.

William Berry, the 'English Sanson', made this map under Charles II and is inscribed three times by William Berry. The map was sold by William Berry at 'ye Sing of ye Globe between Charing-Crols and White Hall, 1684'.

From the Kingdoms of Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland and is divided into their Principall Provinces. Other countries include Confines of Germany, The States of the Kingdom of Poland, Moscovia, Livonia, Ingria, Samogatia, Prussia, Lithuania, Gothland and all the early ocean names. There are landmarks where castles and palaces are located in each town or city.

This large map is in very good condition on two attached sheets. A minor margin tear is the only fault.
