Published in London in 1727. An antique map by the famous cartographer Herman Moll that shows the whole of the Arabian Peninsula. Arabia is divided into Arabia Deserta and Arabia Faelix (or 'Happy Arabia' - so called due to the flourishing trade in frankincense). The map contains many place-names, including ‘Medina’ and ‘Mecca’, with original outline colour marking the boundaries of the territorial claims of the time. A good strong impression with good margins, the lower having been strengthened.
