From Heylyn's Cosmographie 1663. A rare and remarkably detailed map of the Asian continent by Johan Goddard, with the imprint of Anna Seile, Henry’s widow, one of the few women to be involved in London’s map publishing business. Condition: A good strong engraving. The map has been rebacked to make it stronger and there is a very small loss to the bottom corners that does not affect the engraved area. A large and very desirable map with a wealth of information and decoration.
