A beautifully engraved map of the environs of London stretching from Welwyn in the north to Reigate in the south and from Stanford Le Hope in the east to Windsor in the west. The Counties has been delineated in outline colour. The principal rounds radiating out of the Metropolis have also been coloured.

This map has been professionally cleaned and repaired. Some centrefolds have been strengthened. The bottom half of the right margin has been added. A tear stretching from Chipping Barnet in an arc to Shenfield and Billericay has been invisibly mended. Another tear in the top margin, not entering the image, has also been repaired.
