Title: 'Lithuania Dedicata All’Illustrissimo Signore ...' from Coronelli's rare atlas 'Atlante Veneto'. A scarce and very attractive detailed map of Lithuania by the greatest Italian cartographer of the period. The map covers Lithuania and parts of Poland and the Baltic and includes numerous coats of arms in the body of the map and two large decorative cartouches. Vincenzo Coronelli’s maps are renowned for their strongly engraved style with large baroque cartouches, the title here at lower left and mileage scale with the arms of the country at top left. A large scale and clearly engraved sought-after map that is rarely seen on the market. In very good condition with only a couple of small minor stains in the lower margin, not affecting the image area and visible in the photograph.
